How to Stay Motivated In the Face of Challenges!
I have wanted to blog about this topic for a while now but somehow,I never got to sitting down to put my thoughts on paper (sorry,my blog). I thank God I finally got around to doing it because I tell you,you will gain a lot from it.
Scenario No 1: Faith got to hear about making money online and decided to go into it full time. Her first month online, she worked her butts off but did not make any money. It was not until 3 months after she started her Internet Business that she understood that different business models exist online. Of all the business models, she decided to do Adsense Business.3 months after, she felt it was not profitable and moved into Affiliate Marketing. She started this and before she could make any progress, she switched into Infomarketing. While she was moving from one business to the other, her paypal account was closed. She saw this as the last straw. She felt it was too much for her to bear. So,she quit.
Can you see this scenario playing itself out in your life? To be honest with you,I see this scenario playing itself out in some aspects of my life. Now,ask yourself how many projects you have abandoned because of challenges or setbacks. This article will teach you how to stay motivated to pursue your goals in the face of seemingly stubborn challenges.
1.Success comes at an expensive price. Most of us want to succeed but we are not ready to pay the price. For you to succeed, you must be ready to pay the price. For you to take the expensive perfume you saw in the Perfume Shop the other day,you had to shell out the price(crisp dollar or naira notes). It’s the same for success, you must be ready to pay it’s price for you to take it home.
2. A strong goal. If you have a really strong goal,I don’t see you bowing to any challenge. You see, when achieving your goal becomes a matter of life and death to you,no challenge will frighten you,so,have a very strong goal and I tell you,you will be motivated all the time. A strong goal is: ‘I want to move into my own house by December 2009′.Immediately you start working towards your goal, many challenges will rear their ugly heads but because you have told yourself you no longer want to remain a tenant, you will hold on until you achieve your goals.Affirm it to yourself everyday. You see, affirmation goes beyond just standing in front of your mirror everyday and saying a particular phrase to yourself.Make your mind accept the fact that you can also build and live in your own house. And I tell you,all challenges will bow to you. After all,Challenges exist to be overcome.
3.Law of Visualisation. Constantly visualize the thing you want to achieve. If it’s a big house you want to build, constantly see it in your mind’s eye.Visualise the house, see yourself cooking in the kitchen, see yourself relaxing on the foam in your master bedroom. Some people will think you are crazy but I tell you, this visualization will push you to achieve your dreams even in the face of seemingly stubborn obstacles.
4.Constant Reminders. Everywhere around you,let there be constant reminders of what you want to achieve. If you want to buy a car, just go online and download the picture of the exact car you want to buy and use it as the screensaver on your computer. You can even paste the picture of the car on the wall of your room.If it’s a house you want to build, get the picture of the car close to you. This way,you are constantly reminded of your goals and you are motivated to go after them despite your challenges.
5.Motivation is a daily thing.Motivate yourself to achieve your goals daily.”People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing — that’s why we recommend it daily.” — Zig Ziglar. Constantly read motivational books and listen to motivational tapes. They make you roar for success all the time.
6.Read the success stories of others.Reading the success stories of people who triumphed despite challenges assures you that no matter what you are going through, you can also make it.
7. Tell others. By letting friends and family know that we’re pursuing our goals it makes it a bit more difficult to toss it aside when we lose our motivation. Pride often keeps us going. When someone asks you, “Hey, how’s your project going?” You don’t want to reply, “Oh, I lost motivation. I gave up. I couldn’t do it.” (Oh you may have a list of other excuses, but basically that’s what you’re saying.)
Staying motivated takes practice, but it’s a skill anyone can learn. The more changes you see in your life, however small at first, the more incentive you have to tackle more and more goals. You CAN change your life. It doesn’t matter where you currently are that matters, the future is up to you! Start taking responsibility for your life and I tell you, your future will be brighter than you ever wanted it to be. If you have found any help in this article, just know that I have found greater joy writing it.Waiting to hear your testimonies soon.

May 19th, 2009 at 11:07 amStaying motivated is a daily thing. It’s important for people to spend at lleast 30 mins every morning meditating on the good things that are happening in their lives despite the challenges. This will keep you in a good frame of mind for the day. Spend at least 30 mins first thing in the morning on your thinking and you’ll find yourself measuring up to challenges.

Smart i think you need to specify which type of internet business you want to go into, if is adsense, they accept all countries perhaps affiliate marketing you need to have a foreign address which you can out source or a virtual address @ http://graphcard.com.
To host your website you need a domain name, web hosting account and a FTP software to upload your website to the Web.
They are a lot of webhosting companies around, go to them and get a domain and host account.

Iyabo,
I love the way Robert Collier talked about staying motivated amidst challenges. He said ” You can have anything you want- if you want it badly enough.
You can be anything you want to be, have anything you desire, accomplish anything you set out to accomplish- if you will hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”
I desired a self help website for the world and I finally got it.www.otolorin.com is a reality!
You can never understand what I am saying until you visit that site!
Tough times never last, but Tough people really do!
